A 17-year-old has released an original song in memory of her mother who died of brain cancer six years ago.
Mia, a performing arts student from Melksham, Wiltshire, began writing her own songs at the age of 13 as a way to express her feelings and emotions. A lot of her music is about her mum, Debby.
She said she had always planned to release something in her honour and the emotional lyrics for 'even now' came naturally to her during a recording session with a friend at his home studio.
"It's really nice that I've got to release it and I feel like I've made [my mum] very proud," Mia said.
